LUCENTINI FALL COLLECTION
Lucentini newest Fall 2024 collection. A lot of positive vibes, sharing of ideas and a will to grow and renovate has been the order of the day in these past intense weeks of work.. . . the Outcome?! . . . a cornucopia of new ideas and new branches of our Lucentini. We went back to the drawing board and to do so we are using our fundamental mottos – Art- History and Fantasy
Fantasy -In this collection we are introducing a new concept called Lucentiny collection for the younger generation; amalgamating fantasy with history playfully. Vibrant colors and playful designs reaching out to the young generation. . . a vital offspring of our loved creations. This playful amalgamation of characters from two different worlds brought a unique personification of both worlds. Even more by our new branch – LUCENtiny.
History – Fall is the time to lay back, rest and contemplate. We have chosen three important designs from what makes us Maltese and reinvented them in our artistic way. We have chosen spirituality – San Pawl; Bravery – Queen Victoria; and Art – Tritoni Fountain.
Art – Some very important aspects/persons and subjects are very difficult that one express in words yet Art is the right medium to be used. For this season we have been inspired by what is the closest to our hearts – MUM & DAD – Mama’ u Papa’ / Achievements in life – Graduation – Prosit and Christmas – Father Christmas and the Holy Family – Sagra Familja
We really felt inspired and adventurous – GOZO – Għawdex was another new branch in Lucentini portfolio. We could not leave out such a natural beauty in our archipelago. The Citadel – Ċittadella laying overlooking the Island on the hill of Victoria – Rabat with its glorious history was our first thought . . . . seeing we are talking about the island of Calypso. . . colourful imagination and loads of ideas came up. From all the brain storming Gozo made us go through, we have decided to rest on nature for ideas. Fungus Rock with its mysterious past and medical properties was a must do . . . not forgetting the famous Salt pans – Salini which were a means of wealth where salt was used as a payment system. The salt pans are still used to produce salt till this day providing fresh sea salt every year.
